My car! My boat! My second car!
The recent trend, a second brewery
This trend, however, is not to be boastful, and rather about the important contributions to beer culture. The norm, logically, has been a large brewhouse with a production volume of 50hl or more. In the case that you are able to build another smaller to brew creative beer specialties, you really have the freedom to experiment and create new and unusual beers. Tröegs has already ordered two breweries in one for its second brewery from BrauKon – the squaring of the second brewery, so to speak.

In recent months, BrauKon has repeatedly set up «second breweries», especially in Austria. This trend has been picked up by Zillertal Bier, Ottakringer (called «Brauwerk») and the new Stiegl brewery. This is not quite true: the previously existing plant there was moved to the Stiegl farm in Wildshut (of course by BrauKon). The Stiegl team from Salzburg acts again as a trendsetter: Long live the third brewery.
