BrauKon and Camba Bavaria: 2000 Euros from charity raffle
It was a great opening weekend! In a three-day celebration BrauKon and Camba Bavaria celebrated the opening of their new premises in Seeon. With more than 6.000 visitors from Thursday to Sunday, the ceremony exceeded all expectation. A charity raffle, which was organized by BrauKon staff, on Sunday brought 2000 Euros.
The local community in Seeon
Half of the money went to the local community in Seeon and was used to renovate the playground.

The other half was given to AKB, a foundation looking into the research and cure of bone marrow cancer, and handed over by Markus Lohner, CEO of BrauKon and Camba Bavaria. AKG is the third-biggest foundation in Germany, which aims to accelerate cures for the major diseases of our time through stem cell research. In 2016, AKG already teamed up with brewery Camba Bavaria and BrauKon for the project “Beer for Blood”. Staff and locals donated blood to find the right stem cell donor for Ulrich Hund, husband of BrauKon member of staff Christine Wilbold-Hund. Luckily, the right donor was found and Ulrich’s health has been improving steadily.
