Customer visit of Colonial Brewing

Greetings from Down Under

We are pleased to welcome our customer from Down Under this week. Ashley Hazell from Colonial Brewing Company traveled the world from Melbourne, Australia to Seeon, Germany to take part in the training at our BrauTechnikum.

3-vessel brewhouse 50 hl

Ash, Head of Brewing, gets a training in use of the automation technology and control of the brewhouse. They also discuss important details of the joint project – a 3-vessel brewhouse with a cast out of 50 hl.

Together with our master brewer Daniel, brews are brewed on our 10 hl plant in Truchtlaching. Helpful tips and tricks are exchanged.

During his stay, they will visit our customer, Stiegl Bräu in Salzburg, Austria to inspect the installed plant of BrauKon and to exchange experiences.

Brewed small. Lived big.

Uncomplicated – that’s the philosophy behind the Colonial Brewing Company in Australia. They started out in Margaret River in 2004, as a small brewpub and has expanded to become one of Australia’s largest independent brewers. In 2015, they took over a vacated mid-sized brewery & bar on Australia’s East in Port Melbourne to help them meet the growing demand for their hop focused ales.
