BrauKon and Camba Bavaria
More than 6000 people celebrate the official opening
What a weekend. In a three-day ceremony from Thursday until Sunday BrauKon and Camba Bavaria celebrated the opening of their new premises in Seeon. With more than 6000 guests, the events exceeded all expectations.
On Thursday, March 30th, around 350 invited guests from all over the world celebrated the official opening. “Good things come to those who wait” was the theme of the evening and picked up by many speakers from the brewery industry, the world of politics and the CEOs Markus Lohner and Christian Nuber.
Due to a complaint in the neighborhood, the constructions work had to be interrupted several times during the past. The event was organized and carried out by members of staff, both the music as well as other performances. A lightshow with sparkers, which was performed on the stair well of the brewery to the song “The crown and the ring” by Manowar, was one of the highlights of a successful evening.
Many regional businesses and societies gathered on Saturday, April 1st, for the Neighbor Day for brass music, Bavarian food and, of course, numerous Camba beers ranging from a traditional Helles to a fruity Pale Ale.
With blue skies and mild temperatures thousands of people flooded the streets outside the new premises on Sunday, April 2nd.
Inside, guests had the chance to sneak a peek at the new production facilities and brewery and find out more about the construction of breweries and actual brewing process. Tours through the building, beer tastings and food pairing were just some of the highlights of a successful day and attracted many visitors from near and far. 2000 euros were collected in a charity raffle. Half the amount goes to the local community for a new playground, the other half will be donated to AKB, an organization researching causes, prevention, and treatment of leukemia.
