BrauKon HopSteiner
Effective hop separation during dry hopping
The HopSteiner can be flexibly used during dry hopping to gently separate the hop sludge sediment from the beer without absorbing oxygen. During the process, the hop trub is separated with a high dry matter content.
Maximum yield
The use of the HopSteiner reduces the beer losses in the hop trub which would otherwise be lost when the yeast is removed from the tank.
Increased operational reliability
Through the separation of beer and hop sludge, downstream filter systems or separators are relieved and protected against uncontrolled blockages. The subsequent filtration is more economical, the operational reliability of the separators increases and losses during desludging are reduced.
